Behind The Hideout Saloon—an old western-style bar and restaurant that used to be a lively stop in the 1950s — lies a quiet stretch of land where a spring-fed creek moves gently through the hills. Tucked among the trees are restored cabins, trailers, and campsites, including an adobe house built in the traditional style of Southern California.
Originally a fisherman’s basecamp for excursions to nearby Lake Henshaw, the property has been thoughtfully reimagined. Today, you’ll find a collection of restored wooden cabins, cozy trailers, and welcoming campsites, all anchored by the historic Adobe House—an architectural nod to Southern California’s roots.
This land carries a quiet history and timeless beauty. It’s easy to get lost in its winding trails, shaded by oaks and pines, while a symphony of birdsong plays overhead.
